HOW TO CREATE A PATIO SANCTUARY
The spring weather and sunshine are finally here in the Midwest! Being trapped inside for quarantine makes this weather even sweeter and I cannot wait to get outside and enjoy the fresh air and blooming trees!
At our house, we are ready to take on some outdoor projects in an attempt to make our patio a sanctuary of escape. And, if we are lucky, maybe even host a 6’ Social Distancing happy hour with a few adults.
This week I am hosting an InstaLIVE with our local Anthropologie Home Consultant. So what could be better than an outdoor scheme pulled from Anthro’s outdoor line?!?!?!?… Let’s do this!…
The perfect chair to sink into for a daytime read!
Four of these Maren Outdoor chairs will create a fabulous seating group. I am swooning over the details on these chairs!! The lacquer finish + brass corners + solid navy fabric paired with the textured navy on the back; what’s not to love? Also, the black and grey finish option is quite handsome too!
Accent the chair with these adorable hand embroidered pillows from Clare V ‘s design collaboration with Anthropologie.
Add some greenery & texture with the Jeva planters
Anchor your seating group with the tactile weave of the Lina Rug
Enjoy a moment of afternoon calm…
AKA Happy Hour. The Woven Bistro Cart is an adorable accent to serve your sips + snacks. Be sure to swoop up some of Anthro’s always colorful entertaining pieces too.
And last, but not least…
Check out these awesome fire pits! The Concrete Outdoor Fire Pit is actually in my Anthropologie cart as I type. 30% off today, I can’t pass up a sale! This is a perfect piece to add coziness while you toast up s’mores and stargaze.

I don’t know about you…
But all this outdoor talk is getting me psyched for warm weather, sunshine, and a cocktail on the back patio with country music playing!! If you are like me, you plan on spending a little more time outdoors than usual this summer. What design dilemmas do you have to get your space summer ready? Shoot me a DM and let me know!
